Smoothie Time: 4 Creamy And Delicious Recipes For This Autumn

Leaves fell down from the trees, temperature dropped… In autumn we all look for something warming up and cozy, even if we are talking about food!  Here are 5 delicious and easy smoothie recipes to help you enjoy this season with a taste of spices, gingerbread and clementines. 🙂 Have a look!

1) Almond Joy Cookie Dough Smoothie

What You Need:

  • 1 small banana, cut into chunks and frozen
  • ¼ cup raw oats
  • ¼ cup coconut flavored Greek yogurt (vanilla works too)
  • ½ Tbsp. cocoa powder
  • ⅛ tsp. almond extract
  • ½ cup light canned coconut milk (or ¼ cup coconut and ¼ cup almond)
  • optional toppings: shredded coconut and chocolate

How To Do:

  1. Add all ingredients into a blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  2. Transfer to a glass and enjoy right away or place in fridge to allow the smoothie to thicken up even more.

2)Flu-fighter Smoothie with Citrus and Ginger

What You Need:

  • 2 medium seedless navel oranges, peeled
  • 2 tbsp. of fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. grated fresh ginger
  • 1-3 tsp. pure maple syrup
  • 3-5 ice cubes
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)

How To Do:

  1. In a high speed blender, combine all of the ingredients and blend until smooth.
  2. Drink and get ready to feel better in a flash.

3) Creamy Clementine Smoothie

What You Need:

  • 1/2 cup non dairy milk
  • 4 clementines (peeled)
  • 1 ripe banana (peeled)
  • 3 tbsp raw cashews
  • 3-4 ice cubes

How To Do:

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy!

4) Apple Cider Smoothie

What You Need:

  • 1/2 lemon
  • 2 cup water
  • 3 green apples, roughly diced
  • 2 handfuls of baby spinach
  • 1-inch ginger, peeled
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 scoops protein powder *optional
  • Supplements – Vitamin C Powder, MSM, Fish Oil, Maca,…*optional

How To Do:

  1. Juice 1/2 a lemon and pour the juice into a high-powered blender or food processor.
  2. Add the water, apples, spinach, ginger, cinnamon and protein powder and blend until very smooth.
  3. You can enjoy at this apple cider smoothie at room temperature or cool it down by blending in ice cubes. To enjoy it hot, warm it in a pot on the stove.
  4. Finally, whisk or blend in the supplements and enjoy.
